Accommodation at Underwater Explorer

We have basic reed casitas and 2 luxury en-suite beach facing rooms. Our Dive Camp can host up to 40 guests so bring your whole Family, Dive Club or Dive School.

Ocean view rooms have en-suite bathrooms with other rooms sharing communal ablutions.

Seaview En-Suite Rooms 

The Seaview En-Suite Double units are furnished with 1 double bed as standard, En-suite consists of a toilet, wash basin & large shower.

The Seaview En-Suite Family unit has 2 bedrooms; 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 singles as standard. By prior arrangement, we can swap the 2 single beds for a double bed and add an additional single or bunk bed. Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.

All rooms are serviced on a daily basis and guest can cook breakfasts, lunches or dinners using the communal kitchen on the property - meet other guests staying on the property or have a braai/bbq at the boma located centrally on the property.

Ocean View En-Suite

Enjoy your own chalet, a step away from the beach.

Our luxury rooms can sleep 2 adults and 2 children, and have their own en- suite bathroom. Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.

Communal kitchen facilities are available.

Beach Casitas

The basic reed rooms can sleep between 2 and 4 people. Bedding, Pillows, sheets, duvet and Mosquito nets are provided.

Communal tiled, bathrooms with showers and a communal kitchen complete your rustic stay at Underwater Explorers. Simply a few steps away from the beach.

Our beach casitas can offer queen, twin or family setups, we provide all linen, fans and mosquito nets, just bring your own towels and special pillows if required.

Seaview House

The Underwater Explorer Seaview House is a 2-bedroom House situated on the hill top just outside the Ponta do Ouro Beach Campsite behind the Underwater Explorer Booking Centre.

This private hilltop house has a large open veranda perfect for entertaining your family and friends, with stunning views and ocean sea breezes. It is perfect for groups of 4 – 6 people, The large main room has a king size bed (or two singles) and a bunk bed, so can sleep up to 4 guests or one family. The second bedroom can also accommodate two singles or one king size bed.

The entire house is fully air-conditioned.  The kitchen is equipped with a gas-top stove, microwave and fridge/freezer. The bathroom offers a shower, toilet and basin. Guests are asked to please bring their own beach and bath towels.

Charlie's Bar at Underwater Explorer

There is a little place hidden in the bottom corner of the camp that we call Charlie’s Bar. Sit back, relax, suck down a 2m, or R&R Slushie and absorb the incredible view the ocean has to offer.

From dolphins to whales and whale sharks, bass to hammerheads and zambezi sharks, Mozambique offers spectacular diving with many species and vast variety of sea life. Join us for an underwater adventure, from shallow reefs for Open water, to deeper shark dives for the more advanced diver… a little something for everyone.
